• We start early to beat the crowds and take advantage of the best morning light for your photographs.

​07:30 AM | Chinchero: The Rainbow Village:

• Chinchero is world-famous for preserving Inca traditions almost intact. We will visit a Textile Interpretation Center, where local weavers will demonstrate how they transform alpaca wool into fine garments using natural dyes derived from plants and insects (like the cochineal). You’ll also explore its Colonial Temple, built atop ancient Inca palaces—a perfect example of cultural syncretism.

​09:30 AM | Moray: The Inca Agricultural Laboratory:

• Unlike other ruins, Moray was a center for biotechnological experimentation. These deep circular terraces create multiple microclimates; the temperature difference between the top and bottom can be up to 15°C (59°F). Here, the Incas adapted jungle and coastal crops to grow in the high Andes. It is a true masterpiece of ancient engineering.

​10:45 AM | Maras Salt Mines: The White Gold of the Andes:

• You will witness over 3,000 salt ponds that have been harvested since pre-Inca times. A hypersaline spring flows from the mountain, filling these pools by gravity. It’s a stunning visual spectacle of white and ochre hues. This is the perfect place to buy gourmet pink salt, world-renowned for its mineral properties.

​12:30 PM | Buffet Lunch in Urubamba:

• A well-deserved break to enjoy authentic Peruvian cuisine. A full buffet featuring local and international dishes with a beautiful view of the valley mountains.

​02:30 PM | Ollantaytambo: The Living Inca City:

• This is the only Inca town still inhabited today. Its streets retain original walls and water channels. We will climb its imposing fortress to see the Temple of the Sun, built with massive stone blocks transported from a mountain across the valley. It is an incredible display of strength and faith.

​03:36 PM / 05:30 PM | Train to Aguas Calientes:

• A scenic rail journey bordering the Urubamba River as the landscape transforms into lush cloud forest. Overnight stay in a cozy hotel at the foot of Machu Picchu.

• We board the eco-friendly shuttle bus and travel along the winding Hiram Bingham road up to the historic sanctuary.

​10:00 AM | Connection & Photo Time:

​11:30 AM | Descent to Aguas Calientes Town:

• We will take the bus back down to the town to enjoy a well-deserved lunch. You will have time to explore the colorful streets, visit the local craft market, or enjoy regional gastronomy at one of the many riverside restaurants.

​05:30 PM / 05:55 PM | Boarding the Return Train:

• We will head to the station 30 minutes before departure to board the train back to Ollantaytambo. During the journey, you can relax and enjoy the changing landscapes between the lush cloud forest and the Andean peaks.

​07:30 PM | Arrival in Cusco City:

• Upon arrival at the Ollantaytambo station, our private transport will be waiting to take you directly to your hotel door in Cusco, concluding a truly magical experience.
