4 Day Cusco and Machu Picchu Tour 2027:

We begin the day at 07:30 AM with direct pickup at your hotel. We will embark on the guided excursion descending toward the fertile Sacred Valley of the Incas, making our first stop at the Taray Viewpoint to admire panoramic views of the Andes mountain range and the agricultural fields along the Urubamba River. Our first archaeological stop will be the Pisaq complex, where we will explore in a small group its impressive agricultural terraces suspended on the mountain, its urban sectors, and Inca cemeteries, ending with a brief visit to its traditional artisan market.
We will continue to the town of Urubamba to enjoy a comforting buffet lunch featuring Peruvian cuisine and local ingredients. In the afternoon, we will visit the living fortress of Ollantaytambo, a monumental Inca military and religious center where we will walk along its stone staircases and ceremonial temples. Finally, at the scheduled time, we will board the panoramic tourist train (PeruRail or Inca Rail) at Ollantaytambo station bound for Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Town), enjoying the changing landscape toward the cloud forest. Arrival, reception, and transfer to the selected hotel in Aguas Calientes.

The main day of the excursion starts early. We will board the eco-friendly Consettur bus for the 30-minute ascent along the Hiram Bingham route to the entrance gate of the sacred citadel of Machu Picchu.
Together with our professional guide in a small group, we will enter the sanctuary to take the guided tour through the highly sought-after Circuit 2 (Classic Route). This circuit is the most complete in the sanctuary, granting you access to the iconic Guardian’s House to take the famous classic postcard photo of Machu Picchu. During a 2.5-hour guided walk at a comfortable and personalized pace, we will explore the Main Plaza, the Temple of the Sun, the Intihuatana, the Temple of the Three Windows, the Sacred Rock, and the agricultural terraces.
After the visit, we will board the descent bus back to Aguas Calientes, where you will have free time for lunch. In the afternoon, we will board the return tourist train to Ollantaytambo, where our transport will be waiting to take you back to the door of your hotel in Cusco.
