On this Rainbow Mountain ATV tour, you’ll immerse yourself in the vibrant Andean landscape without the challenges of high altitude. Be one of the first to reach the summit of Rainbow Mountain, ensuring uncrowded photo opportunities.

Starting at 4:00 a.m., your adventure begins with a two-hour bus ride to the village of Pitumarca at 3,600 meters above sea level, south of Cusco. After a brief breakfast stop in Pitumarca, continue by bus for another hour and 20 minutes to the trekking starting point at 4,700 meters above sea level. Begin a 45-minute ATV ride to reach the high point, 5,050 meters above sea level, offering stunning views of the rainbow hues and snow-capped peaks. Take some time to relax, capture stunning photographs, and savor the splendor of this extraordinary place.

After the ATV ride, we’ll return to the starting point and board the bus back to the town of Pitumarca for lunch. After our snack, we’ll have an hour and 30 minutes to arrive in Cusco, where our service concludes at approximately 5:00 p.m.

Itinerary

RAINBOW MOUNTAIN WITH ATVs TOUR FULL DAY

Our adventure tour begins with pickup from your hotel at 4:00 a.m. We’ll then drive south for an hour and a half until we reach the Cusipata district, where we’ll have breakfast. Afterward, we’ll continue our journey for another half hour, passing through Checacupe, Pitumarca, and Hanchipacha, before arriving in Kayrahuiri around 9:00 a.m. Once we arrive at the base, we’ll leave the bus and continue our adventure on ATVs. Before starting the journey, we’ll take a 20-minute practice ride before beginning our ATV ascent to Rainbow Mountain. We’ll travel 30 minutes slowly uphill (not speeding). Once we reach Rainbow Mountain, we’ll have 40 minutes to explore, take photos, and enjoy the surrounding scenery.

Once we’ve completed our visit to Rainbow Mountain, we’ll return to base camp for 30 minutes before boarding our bus to the town of Cuispata for our buffet lunch.

After lunch, we’ll return to Cusco. The journey takes approximately one hour and 30 minutes to reach Cusco, where we conclude the service. We arrive approximately at 5 pm. The final stop is Plaza Regocijo, one block from Cusco’s main square.
