04:00 AM – Early Departure from Cusco
- Your journey begins with a private pick-up from your hotel. We head towards the Ollantaytambo train station in the Sacred Valley. This scenic drive takes about 1 hour and 45 minutes.
06:10 AM – Scenic Train Journey to Aguas Calientes.
- Board the Vistadome or Expedition train. This part of the Machu Picchu day trip offers stunning views of the Urubamba River and the changing landscape as we enter the cloud forest.
08:00 AM – Arrival at Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Pueblo).
- Upon arrival, your professional guide will meet you at the station to head to the bus stop for a short 25-minute ride up to the main gate of the sanctuary.
09:30 AM – Guided Tour of the Machu Picchu Citadel.
