OUR

Itinerary

Sacred Valley Day tour full Day

Our tour begins with pickup from your hotel at 7:30 a.m. and then departs at 8:00 a.m. from Cusco to the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

In fact, in the first part of the excursion, we will visit the terraces, temples, and sacred precincts of the Pisac archaeological complex. From one of its many natural viewpoints, we will observe the impressive natural landscapes of the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

We will then descend to the Pisac artisan market to appreciate the wide variety of traditional handicrafts radiating magic and color, made by the locals. Here, anyone who wishes to take home a souvenir can shop.

Then, along the banks of the Vilcanota River, we will continue our journey to Urubamba, where we will enjoy a delicious Novo-Andino buffet lunch.

After tasting the exquisite cuisine of Cusco, we will head towards Ollantaytambo where we will explore its most important buildings: the large stone platforms, the Temple of the Sun, the fountain of the Princess’s Baths, etc. Also, within the stone walls of Ollantaytambo, we will remember Ollantay (the legendary Inca soldier, the main character in the Ollantay drama, who not only fell in love with and married the daughter of the Inca Pachacutec, but was the general who challenged the Inca Pachacutec himself).

After our guided tour in Ollantaytambo, we will return to the city of Cusco. But before arriving in Cusco, we will make one last stop en route in Chinchero to visit the foundations of the palace of Inca Tupac Yupanqui and the colonial temple, a symbol of Catholicism; and, above all, to appreciate the finest Inca textiles.

Finally, as the sunset sets in and with the images of an exciting day still vivid in our minds, we will board our tourist bus and head towards the city of Cusco. We will arrive in Cusco at approximately 6:30 p.m.
